LD14 — Advancing Wall of Doom (8)

Mind Wall by SethR

Very nice, highly polished. I found the tessellation cracks between the blocks to be a bit distracting, perhaps a bigger gap between them would have looked better.

Bunny Press by Notch

Very good but some levels are very random if you can complete them as you succeed or fail on the whims of the bunnies.

The Glacier of DOOM by nilsf

Good fun with good humour. The tree level was much more difficult than the others as it wasn't too clear where the axe would land and it was very easy to hit the house.

Extinguish by LunarCrisis

Nice idea and shows promise. Needs to be moved down a bit as I always seem to be shooting stuff right at the top of the screen with the bottom half completely black.

Put the Ball in the Basket by Doches

Great idea but I think there is something up with the physics as on the first level 'Just pull the trigger' the ball misses the bucket by a large margin, I assume it's meant to go in. Might be better if you could remove / move the items you add and resetting didn't remove them as it would allow more complex levels. (On MacOS if it makes a difference)

Too Heavy For Re-Entry by demonpants

Nice idea but I have great trouble guiding the ship towards the bits left once I've blow up the wall on level 3. It also seems to burn CPU time so the sound effects were augmented by the fan on my laptop spinning at high speed.

Walla Zombies! by ChadyG

Had to change the controls to play (Dvorak keyboard and a single mouse button) but nice little game. Needed better AI on the zombies as there is at least one place you can run at the beginning that will prevent the zombies getting to you.

DoomCake by Banni

Thoroughly bizarre. Marred mainly because the controls are very strange, normally you should be moved around the isometric grid rather than the screen.

LD11 — Minimalist (19)

Typoworm by XMunkki

Very good, but probably would have been better if instead of words it used touch typing exercises instead. It would have been much better than the normal touch typing tutor programs that I've used in the past.

Unknown by Wiering

Hey, Qix! Loved that game. I swear that there was a bonus for splitting the two bad guys though.

Spacbattle is done-ish by tirpen

Bit annoying that I couldn't fully play it as I only have a track pad with a single button but looked reasonable

Minimaze by shanecelis

Bit of fun, needed more levels though.

Pixelman 3 by pymike

The movement is a bit too fast for my liking, but a good complete fun game.

win32.dll The Game by philhassey

Very amusing. It's just a shame that you don't have enough time to read the messages as they pop up.

Tiny Hawk final release by pekuja of Polygon Toys

Great fun but agree with others that being able to turn around would have been good.

Unknown by NULL

Interesting but there's something not quite right about the controls as the ball doesn't always bounce an cue which makes it rather annoying.

Final Submission by keeyai

Nice take on the space battle idea. Somewhat annoying that the bad guys seem to be more manoeuvrable than you are as they tend to fly through you turn and fly back before you can get a good shot. Needs auto fire as well.

Of Robots & Groglots by jlnr

This is very, very, annoyingly good.

There Is No Screwdriver by JamesDM

For a first attempt, in 24 hours and never having actually coded not bad.

The Hunt for Pepsi Blue by Jach

Rather surreal and where can I get one of those cars that can go sideways!

Dot2doT by Sophie Houlden

You need to see more of the grid so you can plan moves better, but has potential.

WORLDMAKER by eugman

Very, erm, existential. I did win it on my third attempt, I think.

dots by erik

Great fun.

Exxon – The decontaminator by drZool

Great fun but it's a needs to be a bit harder, a time limit might have been good.

Leap , at least it’s something… by Devon

Nice idea with good monochrome graphics but between the inability to choose the direction of jump, poor collision detection and inability to restart when you died, not really playable.

minimalist entry by allefant

Fun little text adventure but the screen effects were very annoying (and not very minimal). Disappointed that you couldn't try to eat, use or burn the other adventurers, all three options would have been very tempting. There is something deeply ironic in requiring OpenGL for a text game.

Game by alex

Good, but I did find it impossible to fire and move as I have a touch pad on my laptop and couldn't do both with any accuracy. Thought it was a bit cruel for the meteors to actually _target_ the player when launched, I had enough problems with them bouncing near horizontal along the bottom of the screen.
